Admissions to Reception September 2024
If your child was born between 1st September 2019 - August 31st 2020 you need to apply for a school place.

The deadline for applications to OCC is 15th January 2024 and we hope you choose Brookside for your child.
Admissions to Nursery
We offer part time places to children at the earliest for the term after they turn three. The admission age may be older than that, depending on the children on the waiting list.
Nursery pupils are entitled to 15 hours education (we do not currently offer 30 hours). We offer the 15 hour entitlement across 2.5 days; either on a Monday (all day), Tuesday (all day) and Wednesday (morning) or Wednesday (afternoon), Thursday (all day) and Friday (all day).
Applications for Nursery are made directly to the school. Parents are advised to complete an application form in advance so your child is on our waiting list.
Please call in to the school office to collect an application form.
Transfer to Full Time School
NB: Please note that if your child is in our Nursery you must still apply to OCC for a place in reception and full time school
Oxfordshire Local Authority Policy
Children in Oxfordshire are funded for a full time school place during the academic year that they turn 5.
